RosieO Natural Skincare was created by massage therapist Rosie Otalora with one simple goal: to help people care for their skin using natural, nourishing ingredients.

Rosie’s journey into botanical skincare began while she was living in Scotland, where she studied aromatherapy through the London School of Aromatherapy. During this time, she developed a deep appreciation for the powerful benefits that plant oils, herbs, and essential oils can offer when used thoughtfully and responsibly.

When Rosie moved back to the United States, she settled in Maine and attended Therapeutic Bodywork Learning Center, LLC to obtain her Maine massage therapy license. As she built her massage practice, Rosie also began creating her own botanical skincare products to use during treatments.

In fact, some of Rosie’s original formulas have been part of her work for decades. She has been making her Moisture Cream and Muscle & Joint Gel since 1991, first developing them to support the skin and muscle needs of her massage clients. Over the years these trusted formulas have continued to evolve, but their purpose has remained the same — to provide natural support for healthy skin and comfort for the body.

What began as small batches created for her massage clients quickly became something people loved and wanted to take home.

Today, Rosie continues to handcraft every RosieO product in small batches using carefully selected botanical oils, herbs, and essential oils. Many of the herbs used in her products are slowly infused to capture their natural skin-supporting properties, and every formula is created with the same care Rosie brings to her massage practice.

RosieO products are now enjoyed by customers across Maine and beyond — from massage clients to people simply looking for natural ways to nourish their skin.
